HAPPY NEW YEAR!

It's the year of the dog, Happy New Year, everyone!

In California, there are many Americans that originally came from Asia, from China, Japan, Korea... So they celebrate New Year two times, one on the first of January, like we do, and the other now, it's the Lunar New Year or Chinese New Year.

I was invited to a party last Friday, it was a lot of fun, with Chinese food, and a funny dragon, and Chinese decorations...

And on Saturday, I went to the Lunar New Year Parade in San Francisco, and that was great, with bands playing, dancers, fireworks, dragons... Here are some photos and videos to share it with you:
The San Francisco police at the beginning of the parade.
The flags with all the different animals of the Chinese Year.

The bands.

The Eight Inmortals.

The floats.

The dragons.

The lions.

It was lots of fun! I hope you like it, and HAPPY DOG YEAR!
